Hello!
Hello!
I am currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Purdue University. I completed my Ph.D. in Philosophy at the University of Maryland, College Park in spring of 2026. While I was there, I was advised by Peter Carruthers, and worked with Hallie Liberto, Dan Moller, and Elizabeth Schechter.
My research lies at the intersection of value theory and philosophy of cognitive science. I also have a special interest in bioethics, and I recently served on the ethics committee at Capital Region Medical Center.
I'm originally from North Carolina. Before I came to UMD, I got my M.A. in philosophy from Brandeis University. Prior to that, I got my B.A. in philosophy and psychology from UNC, Asheville.
