Lia Curtis Fine

I'm a PhD candidate at the University of Maryland, College Park, where I work with Peter Carruthers, Hallie Liberto, and Dan Moller. 

My research lies at the intersection of value theory and philosophy of cognitive science. I also have a special interest in bioethics, and I am currently serving on the ethics committee at Capital Region Medical Center. 

I'm originally from North Carolina. Before I came to UMD, I got my M.A. in philosophy from Brandeis University. Prior to that, I got my B.A. in philosophy and psychology from UNC, Asheville.
